OHS at Interail Yennora

Negotiations are continuing on a number of OH&S issues raised by drivers at Glen Lee.

The main issues are lack of radio communication from one end of the yard to the other, poor lighting, uneven walkways over ballast and exposure to dust.

Meetings have been held between the RTBU and Interail Management to resolve all OH&S issues.

An incident occurred at Glen Lee on Tuesday 1 February that has highlighted these issues and the need to have all the above issues fixed as soon as possible.
