Loco Division warming up for RailCorp EA

Loco Division RailCorp delegates are beginning discussion with members about the upcoming RailCorp EA negotiations – which we know are going to be tough.

The EA campaign will be run through the Combined Rail Unions (CRU) with a clear aim of protecting workers’ rights and conditions.

The NSW Government has made its agenda clear, with Treasurer and Minister for Industrial Relations Mike Baird recently saying the, “…O’Farrell-Stoner Government…expect to avoid $2 billion of costs over the next four years.” – meaning that it plans to taking $500 million each year out of the pockets of the workforce.

It’s critical all RailCorp staff stay well informed throughout the negotiations, so please see your local delegate if you have any questions or would like to get more involved in the campaign.

Members should contact their local delegate if you’re interested in taking on an ‘activist’ role in the campaign. Training will be provided for anyone willing to be involved.
