Loco division supports Aurizon members

Sep 6, 2017News

The Locomotive Division is supporting Aurizon members who have been made redundant due to the company selling part of its business.

Whilst the RTBULD wish the circumstances did not exist, the reality is they do and we are doing all we can to assist and support members with the legalities and other information to help in securing future employment and their entitlements.

Sydney Trains currently has two elements running which may assist currently qualified drivers in obtaining employment with Sydney Trains.

The first element is an expression of interest for qualified drivers and members should register with this as you will be notified when a recruitment is opened and being run: https://iworkfor.nsw.gov.au/job/qualified-train-driver-registration-of-interest-67455

The second element is a plan to open a recruitment for qualified drivers in late September for a Feb /Mar 2018 start of training date.

Members are asked to contact their local delegate, the Orgainser or the RTBU NSW Head Office for any further support or information.

Stay tuned to Loco Express and check emails for any further updates.
