Let’s hold PN to account: report shift breaches

Members have been contacting us to report an increased number of shift breaches since IPS commenced. We were advised that last weekend in the coal section there may have been over forty breaches.

It’s really important that you let us know if you have been subject to a shift breach so that we can establish if the information we are receiving is accurate: please complete the attached shift breach form and send it to us so we can keep track of this and hold PN to account.

Any shift extending over 11 hours is a breach of your EA and any shift extending over 12 hours is a breach of rail safety legislation.
